Hi, I’m Cara Holt, and I’m a residential realtor with Williams Northern Crain. I grew up in Houston, TX and am the second of seven children. I received my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from San Diego State University.
I got into the real estate industry because I wanted a change from my old 9 to 5 job. I always dreamt about becoming my own boss, and the real estate industry has enabled me to become the entrepreneur I am today. I finally found a healthy work/life balance that has ensured I can be of service to my clients while still having time for my family. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, practicing yoga, hiking, gardening and trying out new restaurants. I am also currently an ambassador at Trinity Habitat for Humanity. Community involvement and giving back is a huge part of my life.
I have five key values when working with clients: communication, assertiveness, knowledge, reliability and honesty. I aim to put my client’s needs before my own agenda. I like to treat my clients as if they were a part of my family.
Prior to working in real estate, I spent time as a foster care counselor and a special education teacher. My past background has taught me to be upfront and honest with all people, that includes my clients. In doing so, I tend to connect with my clients on more of a friendship level. I genuinely care about what my clients have going on in their lives, their families, jobs and friends.
I believe in the Golden Rule and believe that if you take care of your people, your people will take care of you. I take care of my clients and treat them with the respect and integrity they deserve. Whether you are a first-time home buyer or a seasoned seller, I am ready to serve you.
